Boost proposal quality, optimize systematic reviews, and impress funding bodies with cutting-edge software.
Boost proposal quality
Use AI to elevate your applications, meeting the expectations of prestigious schemes like Horizon Europe and NSF.
Save time and resources
Automate the time-intensive process of systematic reviews, enabling faster and more thorough evaluations of evidence.
Achieve greater impact
Ensure comprehensive literature coverage and bolster the credibility of your proposal through AI.
Level 1
AI-Assisted Reviewing
Streamline any text screening process with ASReview. This software is particularly useful if your grant proposal includes a systematic review of the current state-of-the-art. It offers a distinct innovative edge, which is highly valued by funding bodies that prioritize efficiency and innovation, such as Horizon Europe or the National Science Foundation (NSF). Alternatively, you can emphasize these benefits more generally if the funding bodies are already highlighted with logos.
Technology Readiness Level 9
The AI-assisted reviewing software, ASReview, is fully developed, tested, and available in a user-friendly web application. All necessary features are already integrated, so you can start utilizing the software immediately to streamline your research process.
How we help
To incorporate ASReview you can use this template that can be included in the proposal. In return we would favor that you engage with the ASReview community, by joining the discussion forum or sharing your experience and work at our user meetings.
Level 2
State-of-the-art features
Take it one step further by incorporating specific examples that demonstrate the potential of state-of-the-art features to elevate the quality and breadth of your research. For instance:
- Build a dynamic database that can be updated annually with new publications to ensure your research stays current.
- Process and analyze diverse types of data, such as government documents, newspaper articles, or video transcripts, to expand the scope and relevance of your research.
- Test which models perform best for handling and analyzing these data types to determine the most effective approach for your project.
These advanced functionalities may require some developer setup, which should be included in your budget. By showcasing your commitment to using cutting-edge tools, you highlight your dedication to innovation and high-quality research – a trait that funding bodies value and which can give you a competitive advantage.
Technology Readiness Level 6
A functioning prototype with demonstrated capabilities primarily available through a CLI or API. Some engineering skills will be necessary to deploy and adapt the features to your context.
Lets collaborate
Every Thursday, we collaborate in the community room, providing a workspace for the developer working on your project to join the ASReview team and work alongside us, both online and offline.
Level 3
Develop new features
Enhance your project by developing novel, open-source features on top of ASReview’s robust infrastructure. This will demand significant developer time and necessitates collaboration with our dedicated ASReview team. Inclusion of the ASReview team in your grant is not a requirement, though it can certainly be requested.
Technology Readiness Level 2-3
At TRL 2/3, the development of new features is in its early stages. At this level, the conceptualization of novel features has been completed, but testing, prototyping, and further refinement are still required to move the features forward. Achieving progress at this stage typically involves active collaboration with the ASReview team and a substantial investment of developer time to ensure successful implementation and advancement.
Start alone or join forces
Preparing a proposal requires not only a strong research idea but also careful consortium composition. To avoid disrupting partner balance, you can budget developer time independently without including ASReview or affiliated researchers. We can endorse your proposal to strengthen your application. Developers can collaborate with the ASReview team online and offline. For direct involvement in development, formal collaboration is needed.
