The Exploration mode is helpful for teaching purposes because a blue bar is displayed on top of the record, indicating whether the record has been labeled relevant or irrelevant in the dataset. You can make the same labeling decision without the need to be the oracle.

ASReview LAB - the Exploration Mode
Data
The Exploration Mode requires a fully labeled dataset so that you can pretend you are the screener for this dataset.
Use a dataset from SYNERGY
You can also select one of the pre-labeled datasets from the SYNERGY collection. SYNERGY is a free and open dataset on study selection in systematic reviews, comprising 169,288 academic works from 26 systematic reviews.
Screen as if you are an expert
Because a blue bar is displayed on top of the record, indicating whether the record has been labeled relevant or irrelevant in the dataset, you can make the same labeling decision without the need to be the oracle.
